Yvonne Cook Scholarship
We are honored to help celebrate the legacy of Yvonne Cook, longtime member of the Oak Grove School District Board of Trustees, who passed away in 2022. Yvonne greatly believed in the power of education to empower people, and she personally benefited from scholarships that provided her access to higher education.
Yvonne’s family has asked that donations be made in her name to fund a Spartan East Side Promise Scholarship for SJSU students who graduated from Oak Grove, Santa Teresa, and Andrew Hill High Schools. We will be naming this scholarship in memory of Yvonne beginning in 2023.
