At the 2021 Hall of Fame Dinner on November 13th, the Foundation was proud to recognize David “Dave” House for his lifetime of contributions to our community.
Dave has been a leader in the Silicon Valley tech industry for more than four decades, including 23 years at Intel, where he developed the company's leading microprocessor product line and grew the business from $40M to $4B per year.
Dave is a former Chairman of Brocade Communications Systems, Owner of the House Family Winery, and Managing Partner of The Mountain Winery. He also serves on the boards of the Computer History Museum, The Tech Museum, and the Silicon Valley Education Foundation.
The House Family Foundation has provided critical funding for scholarships available to East Side students through the Spartan East Side Promise program, a partnership between the East Side Education Foundation, San José State University, and the Silicon Valley Education Foundation.
“Dave has been an invaluable partner as we continue to expand our programs supporting students from the East Side Alliance,” said ESEF Vice President and retired Oak Grove School District Superintendent Manny Barbara. “It’s truly an honor to honor him.”
