Thank you for purchasing tickets to our 9th Annual Crab Feed on Saturday, March 18th. As the event is fast approaching, we want to give you a few more details and ask you for a little more information. Please read carefully to make sure you come to the event prepared!

Where to go
The San José Scottish Rite Center is located at 2455 Masonic Drive in San José, near the Curtner Avenue exit off Highway 87. We will have balloons and other signage to mark the entrance to the venue.

How to get there
As always, we encourage you to carpool or take VTA Light Rail, which stops a short walk — about two city blocks — from the venue.

Where to park (if you drive)
Parking is free in the surface lot. In case of rain, there is a covered vestibule at the main entrance for dropping off and/or picking up guests. (FYI: Amazon subleases a portion of the parking lot, but that should not impact capacity for our event.)

When to arrive
We’ll open the doors at 5:30pm, food is served by 6:00pm, and we wrap up at 8:00pm. We encourage you to arrive early to find your seats, grab a beverage, bid on silent auction and dessert auction items, and buy raffle tickets.

Checking in
Our registration table will have the name of the person (or company) who purchased your ticket(s) and the number of tickets they purchased. You do not need to print or bring any tickets with you.

Where to sit
Any guests or sponsors with 8 or more tickets will have a table reserved by a name card. Please ask the volunteers at registration for your table number. All other tables will be general seating. We encourage you to mingle and network with other guests as you enjoy the event.

What to do with extra tickets
If you have empty seats to fill, we encourage you to donate the tickets to East Side students! Please reply to this email no later than 5pm Thursday, March 16th and let us know how many extra tickets you would like to donate.

What to bring
Come prepared to bid on auction items and buy raffle tickets. We love cash, but we take credit cards, too. And don’t be afraid to tip your wait staff! They’re all students volunteering their time. Again, you DO NOT need to bring an event confirmation or tickets with you.

What not to bring
No coolers, takeout containers, or outside alcohol will be permitted inside the venue. You are welcome to eat and drink as much as you like while you are there. If you consume alcohol, we encourage you to do so responsibly.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday the 18th!
