Steve Guerrero, Jr. is a San José native who attended Glider Elementary, Davis Junior High (Oak Grove School District), and Oak Grove High School, and graduated from Santa Teresa High in 1991. Guerrero earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from San José State University in 1997.

Mr. Guerrero has held multiple leadership positions throughout his high-tech career, deploying technology throughout California’s public sector, working at AT&T, Western Digital, and IBM, and is currently responsible for Anaplan’s sales efforts for the Pac-N-West.

A community advocate for over 20 years, Mr. Guerrero has volunteered and provided leadership to a multitude of non-profit organizations. Currently serving as a Director with Silicon Valley’s First Tee Program and formerly Vice President of Communications with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of Diversity to the Santa Clara Monterey Bay Council of The Boy Scouts of America, Chairman of the Board to the Role Model Program, President of the Santa Teresa Athletic Booster Club, and Advisory Board Member to the Alum Rock Counseling Center.

Steve married his high school sweetheart, Lisa, who also graduated from San José State with an Accounting Business Degree. Since 2007, Mrs. Guerrero has managed The Guerrero Properties real estate practice at Intero Real Estate Services. Steve and Lisa celebrated 26 years of marriage this past September and are the proud parents of two bright, beautiful daughters, Meriah and Isabella, both graduates from Santa Teresa High School. Meriah has earned her Human Biology Degree from UC Santa Cruz and is currently pursuing an advanced degree in nursing while working at Stanford School of Medicine; and Isabella is a freshman at Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business.
